Tim Born with an extra hunting gene, Tim loved to hunt and fish as a young boy. This love evolved into a driven passion for waterfowl hunting. Along with the excitement of waterfowl hunting, he discovered the joy and satisfaction of watching a well-bred, well-trained retriever do what it was born to do. You don't have to spend much time with Tim to know when he decides something is worth doing, then it will get done right. His hunting dog soon became his hunt test dog and the titles and ribbons quickly started piling up.
Having the opportunity to train with, and gain encouragement from, some of the best professional dog trainers in the game, Tim soon realized it was time for a career change. This is how Tim and his wife, Patti began Kingseed Kennels.
Patti A converted dog lover and puppy fanatic, Patti was immediately on board with the new plan. While Tim keeps busy training dogs for hunt tests, field trials or hunting, Patti will be socializing puppies for their new owners. When there are no litters on the ground, she is a very capable assistant with training and kennel work.
Our Goal Our goal at Kingseed Kennel is to breed the most intelligent, trainable and genetically sound dogs possible. Any dog brought into our bloodline will come from proven pedigrees that have produced healthy, accomplished dogs. We carefully select the dogs for our breeding program bringing the best possible traits into our line.
We take great pride in the fact that our dogs are great performers in hunt tests, are outstanding gun dogs and field trial prospects.And they are also good companions who are great in the house and around kids.
